MUSIC THE UNIVERSAL LANGUAGE / LA MUSIQUE UN LANGAGE UNIVERSEL
I LOVE LOVE MUSIC ....ANY MUSIC. WHEN SOMETHING IS BEAUTIFUL, IS BEAUTIFUL. THE PROBLEM is when some people ( Racist Western Elite People ) most of the time who always try to classify who must listen or play a certain kind of music; This racist attitude has a deep influence on people; Even today a lot of people think that Classical music and Jazz / Blues are only for RICH WHITE PEOPLE. Forgetting that when these music where created they were THE POP MUSIC OF THEIR TIME. And THINGS ARE GETTING WORSE when "this same people decide that when you want to practice a certain kind of music you must be super rich or spend a lot of money on instruments; Did i have to remind you that a lot of Classical musicians were from a poor background and end up broke ; Same thing for a lot of Jazz / Blues musicians; Very few were able to live decently during a long time from their music;
FOR ME A REAL MUSIC LOVER OR "MELOMANE" LIKE SOME POSH PEOPLE MAY SAY LOVE AND FEEL THE MUSIC WITHOUT ANYBODY WHO NEED TO TEACH OR EXPLAIN TO HIM. NOBODY INFLUENCED WHAT KIND OF MUSIC I LIKE OR LISTEN. BUT I WAS LUKY ENOUGH TO BE BORN WITH AN OPEN MIND. THANK GOD.
I just watched the first video. This is one of my favorite pieces . . . I learned it in high school. I am going to have to share this video with my husband because as you know, we, too, are avid music lovers. This clip is fabulous because it makes clear that music belongs to everyone -- no matter the composer or the genre. Amazing to see people making their own instruments in order to play them. Music needs to be accessible to anyone at any time. Amen to that! I was moved by this and will now watch the second video you have posted.
Wow...this is great!! You know, I've always believed that the best musicians in Africa come from Congo.This video affirms my belief. Thanks for posting Minasek.
