IT'S BEEN A LONG TIME THAT I DID NOT POST BUT I WAS VERY TIRED AND ALSO I HAVE A LOT OF THINGS TO DO. PLUS NOW THAT I HAVE MY MICROBRAIDS I AM NOT SPENDING SO MUCH TIME TAKING CARE OF MY HAIR WHICH IS ONE OF THE MANY ADVANTAGES OF A PROTECTIVE HAIRSTYLE.
PLUS I DECIDED TO CONCENTRATE MY VERY LITTLE FREE TIME NOW AND 3 THINGS :
_ MY DRIVING LESSONS
_ MY BOOK
_ AND......MY DIET
SINCE MONDAY I AM A MEMBER OF WEIGHTWATCHERS. I DECIDED THAT I WILL TRY TO GET SOME HELP BECAUSE ALONE I ALWAYS FAILED NOT TO LOOSE BUT TO STOP REGAINING POUNDS. I WEIGHT EXACTLY 16st 12 lb IN ENGLISH MEASUREMENTS WHICH IS 102 KG. YEAH! I AM THAT BIG.LOL.
IT WAS NOT ALWAYS THE CASE BUT NOW IT IS BECOMING MY REALLITY AND I AM JUST FED UP. I CHOSE WEIGHTWATCHERS BECAUSE I TRIED A LOT OF METHODS BUT WITH WW YOU CAN EAT EVRYTHING. AND I NEED TO ADMIT THAT I AM A HUGE FAN OF JENNIFER HUDSON. LOL. THIS IS TO HELP YOU TO UNDERSTAND.....LOL
YOU JUST HAVE TO ADAPT THE COOKING METHOD AND THE QUANTITY ( MY BIGGEST PROBLEM) .
AND I NEED THE PRESSURE TO BE WATCH OUT CAREFULLY. I MADE THAT BEFORE WITH MY GP AND IT WAS WORKING. THEN THEY CHANGED THE HOURS AND SUDDENLY IT WAS DURING MY WORKING TIME. I JUST THOUGHT THAT BECAUSE I HAD ALREADY LOOSE 12 KG, I COULD JUST CONTINUE ALL BY MYSELF ..... BIG MISTAKE........ IT DID NOT WORK...... I REGAINED THIS POUNDS SO ALL HAVE TO BE DONE AGAIN AGAIN AND I HOPE NOT AGAIN THIS TIME.
OK OK I KNOW IT DEPENDS ONLY ON ME BUT YOU KNOW THAT THINGS TAKE TIME. BUT THE MOST IMPORTANT I THINK IS THAT I REALLY FEEL THAT IT IS MY DECISION BECAUSE BEFORE IT WAS ALWAYS ON THE REQUEST OF SOMEONE THAT I WOULD TRY TO LOOSE WEIGHT SO THIS IS VERY DIFFERENT.
THE SCARY PART IS THAT NEED TO LOOSE HALF OF MY CURRENT WEIGHT... HOW I AM GOING TO DO THAT ? ( I KNOW HOW IF I FOLLOW WW METHOD) BUT IT IS QUITE IMPRESSIVE I HAVE TO ADMIT.
BUT MY MOST CONCERNS IS ABOUT THE DRIVING LESSONS BECAUSE I AM NOT THAT GOOD AND I HAVE THE IMPRESSION THAT THE INSTRUCTOR IS LOOSING PATIENCE. I HAVE A LOT OF DIFFICULTY TO CHANGE THE GEAR / SPEED MANUALLY AND IT IS ONLY MY 3rd LESSON BUT HE SAID TO ME THAT I AM TOO SLOW TO UNDERSTAND. HOW MANY TIME IT CAN TAKE ? I NEED SOME ADVICES....LOL
FOR MY BOOK I WROTE A LOT OF IDEAS BUT NOW I REALLY NEED TO START THE FIRST CHAPTER BECAUSE I FINISH ALL THE CHARACTER DESCRIPTIONS.
WITH MY NEW COMPUTER I HOPE THAT THINGS WILL BE MORE EASY .....I DON'T HAVE TO SHARE ONE WITH MY SISTER NOW.

Good for you. Often the first step is simply declaring. I didn't begin learning to drive until I was 32 years old. Very old by American standards. My son, who just turned 22, has been driving for two years . . . maybe more. My son, at the time, was very critical of me, "Daddy, WHY are you letting HER drive?" It was funny but driving is harder when you are older. But keep trying, I know you can do it.
RépondreSupprimerOn weight loss, just take it one day at a time. The beginning will be the most difficult but you have to try hard to stay strong. Eat an apple or an orange when you get hungry . . . drink water. If you can get through the early stages of your new portion control, you'll be fine. I didn't join WW to lose my weight but I ate their pre packaged food. I had to re-teach myself about how much I should eat. If you do this for you, and you have patience with yourself, you'll be fine.

Thanks for the tips and encouragements i really need them. lol My problem is the portion i really need to eat less and get used to it. I join WW because i think that alone i will not succeed until i reach my target. For the driving i NEED TO DRIVE i have NO CHOICE NOW. I am a little bit afraid of driving fast maybe because of the accident i had when i was five. don't know!

Wow! I'm so excited for you! You are going to do great on WW. Your going to make your 5 and 10 percent goal in no time. Just remember to measure your food, track and use those 49 weekly points so you don't deprive yourself.

Thank you i hope to succeed like you. But i really need to know how to calculate those dam points. I have some indications but i think that the website is not helping that much.Plus i Have to adapt my taste of food because i am not really into English food.lol. But i wll ask you all the time cause' NOW i have a reason to go to your blog everytime. You will be harass I AM ARNING YOU.LOL

RépondreSupprimerThank you very much, I am going to the meetings because i need to feel the pressure to get weighted and also to understand the program. I stated last week but i did not loose anything yet i just stay the same which is not so bad.But my adviser told me that i was supposed to lost something. But some members told me not because we don't have the same metabolism. They also told me that if i did not take it is because my body try to adapt first.I need to be patient. How it was for you?

SupprimerDon't get discouraged, because you did not lose your first week. Most people don't, and most people do, dropping as much as 10 pounds their first week. I dropped 3 pounds my first week, and was hooked to the program after that. Try to eat all your 33 points. Don't worry about those 49 right now if your having issues trying to get to those 33. If you have to eat fast food or sweets to make that 33 a day, do it.
RépondreSupprimerMeetings are good, try to attend your 3 powerstart sessions as many times as you can till you get it. Download the app on your iphone or android if you have one.
Only concentrate on the etools/tracker/tracking/track food part of the WW site for now. Don't bother with the spaces, and routines for now.
Try to invest in the eat out or shop out books at the WW center, those are great for tracking.
Thanks i am going to try to follow your advice.But I am a bit worried because i have a difficulty with the quantity and I AM STARVING SOMETIME BECAUSE IT IS WINTER AND I NEED TO EAT MORE RICE PASTA AND POTATOES.
SupprimerThat's ok, I eat that stuff everyday. Don't be scared to eat mashed potato, pasta, and rice. Just TRACK IT. Don't starve yourself. Are you eating fruit?
RépondreSupprimerI eat a lot of fruit and a lot of soup made without potatoes only vegetables. and i have to admit that it helps a lot. When you say TRACK IT.. YOU MEAN TO WEIGHT IT ?
