DEEP CONDITIONER : COCONUT OIL, ALMA OIL, GREEK YOGURT AND LIME JUICE

I USED TO DO THIS TREATMENT ON MY HAIR BUT I DIDN'T LIKE THE RESULTS SO I JUST GAVE UP.

THEN I SAW JAZZWIFE ( http://slimwavy.blogspot.com/2011/10/coconut-cream-concentrate-deep.html) WHO DID IT SO IT GAVE ME THE IDEA TO TRY IT AGAIN.

THIS TREATMENT WAS PRESENTED IN YOUTUBE LIKE A NATURAL RELAXER. WHICH OF COURSE IS NOT BUT IF YOU DO IT FREQUENTLY IT WILL LOOSEN YOUR CURLS. SOME PEOPLE DO IT EVERY TWO WEEKS.

I CHANGE A LITTLE BIT THE RECEIPE. I ADDED THE ALMA OIL ( i am starting to love this oil now ) INSTEAD OF THE COCONUT CREAM AND I DIDN'T SLEEP WITH IT I USED A HAIR DRYER ( too bad memories with the previous attempts ).

I MADE MY HAIR AND MY SISTER'S HAIR SO I AM GOING TO SHOW YOU THE RESULTS ON THE TWO HEADS.

WHAT I USED

- 1 TABLE SPOON OF COCONUT OIL
- 1 TABLE SPOON OF ALMA OIL
- 3 TABLE SPOONS OF GREEK YOGURT
- 1 HALF OF A LIME JUICE

I MELT THE COCONUT OIL BEFORE ADDING THE ALMA OIL

I DID THE TREATMENT ON UNWASHED HAIR BECAUSE THE OILS AND YOGURT HAVE ALSO A CLEAN AGENT.

I STARTED WITH MY SISTER'S HAIR

I APPLIED THE MIXTURE ON THE SCALP FIRST THEN ALL OVER THE HAIR

THEN I USED THE AIR DRYER ON MEDIUM HEAT UNTIL IT DRIED COMPLETELY

AS YOU CAN SEE THE HAIR SKRINKED BUT THE YOGURT WAS STILL VISIBLE. WE DID NOT RINSE STRAIGHT AWAY AND DID NOT COVER HER HAIR EITHER (no need too when it is dried) ).
IN FACT I SPENT THE FOLLOWING 2 HOURS IN THE KITCHEN COOKING A VERY GOOD MEAL.

I ONLY RINSED HER HAIR. NO CO-WASH, NO SHAMPOO

THE HAIR ARE CLEAN, SHINY AND MOISTERISED SO NO NEED TO PUT SOME CREAM ON IT. THE QUANTITY OF THE COCONUT AND ALMA OIL WASN'T ENOUGH TO CREATE THE SHINING EFFECT AND THIS TEXTURE I THINK THAT IT IS THE GREEK YOGURT WHICH HELPED TO LOOSEN THE CURLS. I USED A FATTY YOGURT IN PURPOSE. BECAUSE I DIDN'T WANT TO USE THE COCONUT CREAM. MOST OF PEOPLE USED A LOW FAT YOGURT BUT I PREFER MY METHOD.

THE ADVENTAGES OF THIS METHOD:

- THE HAIR ARE CLEAN AND EASY TO DETANGLE
- THE HAIR STAY MOISTERISED DURING 7 DAYS (no need to apply anything especially if you braid or style it)
- THE HAIR ARE SOFTER AND EASY TO STYLE
- DAYS AFTER DAYS THE OIL IS ABSORBED

I WILL SHOW THE PICTURES OF HER HAIR 2 DAYS LATER AND THE PICTURES OF MY HAIR TREATMENT TOO. IT IS THE FIRST TIME I TRY THIS METHOD BUT I AM QUITE SATISFIED FOR THE MOMENT. I AM HAPPY TO HAVE MADE SOME ADJUSTEMENTS.

ATTAQUE CONTRE LE CHEVEUX AFRO / A NEW ATTACK AGAINST AFRO HAIR

DID YOU REMEMBER IN MY FIRST HAIR STORY I TALKED ABOUT THIS WOMAN, GILETTE LEWATT, WHO INSPIRED ME TO BECOME NATURAL. BELIEVE IT OR NOT THE FRENCH AUTHORITIES JUST CLOSED HER INSTITUT FOR TWO MONTHS.

Gillette Lewatt

STATEMENT

We are currently experiencing an abusive decision of the
administrative authorities, who ordered a temporary TWO
MONTHS CLOSURE of the Paris boutique housing the brand
... "GILLETTE LEUWAT".

The authorities based their decision on false pretenses, and
also suggested a so-called "complaint" of a "consumer" has
been filed, without giving specific information on the nature of
the problem or on the person.

They refused to enforce the adversarial process (which would
have allowed us to defend ourselves) by requiring the
immediate closure of the shop. But that decision, effective since
January 30, 2012, is not suspensive, when using “legal”
remedies proposed.

Such incomprehensible and unbearable decision, forbids us to
engage in any sale or provide service, before any authorization
to reopen has been granted.

We are appalled by the methods of the agents and the
“flimsiness’ of their report which contains glaring inaccuracies.
For our part, this is clearly an attack stemming from the
competition that manipulates and abuses the state services.

The cosmetic companies that sell chemicals and encourage
Blacks to straighten their hair and lighten their skin take a dim
view of the development of our structure and dynamics of our
project: "Deify thy Beauty" with 100% natural products.
Moreover, the institute has been providing Gillette Leuwat food
based body and hair care for fifteen years ..

Gillette Leuwat

HAPPY VALENTINE DAY TO EVRYBODY

DOESN'T MATTER IF YOU ARE IN COUPLE OR NOT. BUT THIS IS FOR MY PARENTS ESPECIALLY.
THIS SONG TALK ABOUT A WEDDING.

R.I. P WHITNEY HOUSTON

WITH THE DEATH OF MICHAEL JACKSON AND WHITNEY HOUSTON IS LIKE MY CHILDHOOD AND TEENAGEHOOD ARE DEFINITIVELY GONE. NOW I KNOW I AM AN ADULT WOMAN.

THIS TWO SINGERS / ENTERTAINERS BROUGHT SO MUCH HAPPINESS AND JOY IN MY LIFE NOBODY WILL NEVER UNDERSTAND WHAT IT WAS TO BE A BLACK TEENAGER IN FRANCE WITH NOBODY IN TV AND MOVIE TO LOOK LIKE YOU.

WITHOUT AFRICAN AMERICANS A LOT OF BLACKS IN EUROPE NEVER SAW A POSITIVE BLACK FACE ON A SCREEN. YOU NEED TO UNDERSTAND THAT THE ONLY IMAGES OF AFRICANS SHOWN WERE STARVING CHILDREN OR HALF NAKED PEOPLE IN THE WILD NATURE. EVEN IF OUR PARENTS TRIED TO EXPLAIN AND CONFORT US ABOUT THE INTENT RACISM ON IT, IT NEVER CHANGE THE FACT THAT YOU NEED SOMETIMES TO SEE YOU IN A POSITIVE SIDE WHEN YOU HAVE TO DEAL WITH OTHERS STUDENTS IN SCHOOL. WHITNEY HAS A VOICE, THE TALENT, THE BEAUTY AND THE GRACE. NOBODY WILL NEVER SING LIKE HER DESPITE THE FACT A LOT TRY TO EMULATE BUT FAILED TO EVEN COME CROSS HER GOD GIFTED TALENT.

A LOT OF PEOPLE CAN SING WITH THE RIGHT TONE BUT IT DOESN'T MEAN THAT THEY CAN BRING THE EMOTION INTO IT. IT DOESN'T MEAN THAT THEY CAN MAKE YOU FEEL THE PEACEFUL EFFECT OF THE MUSIC. THAT DOESN'T MEAN THEY CAN JUST GIVE YOU THE STRENGH YOU NEED TO GO ON WITH YOUR LIFE. THAT'S WHAT MICHAEL AND WHITNEY DID TO ME.

PEOPLE WILL PROBABLY TALK ABOUT THE BAD THINGS LIKE THEY WERE SO PERFECT AND SEEMED TO FORGET ABOUT ALL THE GOOD THINGS THIS ENTERTAINERS BROUGHT IN THIS EVIL AND DIFFICULT WORLD.

I AM NOT PERFECT, I WILL NEVER BE BUT UNLIKE OTHERS I AM NOT TRYING TO GIVE SOME SO CALLED ADVICES OR WARNINGS (I TOLD YOU SO...) OR WORST "I AM NOT SURPRISED" BECAUSE I AM NOT A BLACK CELEBRITY, NEVER BEEN BUT I KNOW THAT LIFE MUST BE AWFULLY DIFFICULT FOR THEM AND WE JUST NEED TO LOOK BACK IN THE PAST TO REALLY UNDESTAND WHAT BLACK ENTERTAINERS HAVE TO OVERCOME TO SUCCED AND SURVIVE IN THIS BUISINESS DESPITE THEIR HUGE TALENT. RACISM IS STILL ALIVE WE MUST NEVER FORGET IT.

I HAVE NEVER MET OR BEEN AT HER CONCERT MOST OF THE TIME I WAS TOO BROKE TO BUY A TICKET OR HAVE OTHER FINANCIAL PRIORITIES BUT I HAVE ALL HER CD.
ONE OF MY FAVOURITE SONG EVEN TODAY IS "THE GREATEST LOVE OF ALL" BECAUSE WHEN I WAS YOUNG I NEVER UNDERSTAND THE LYRICS BECAUSE I DID NOT SPEAK ENGLISH AT THAT TIME. I STILL LOVED THE SONG AND THE VIDEO. BUT WHEN I STARTED TO UNDERSTAND ENGLISH THIS SONG WAS VERY SPECIAL TO ME.FOR ME THIS SONG SAID IT ALL AND ITS FOR EVRYONE.

DID I NEED TO MENTION THAT MICHAEL AND WHITNEY ARE ONE OF THE REASONS THAT I LEARNED ENGLISH EVEN AFTER HIGH SCHOOL I CONTINUED TO TEACH MYSELF BY READING EBONY AND ESSENCE FOR NOT LOSING IT BECAUSE IN UNI AT THAT TIME ENGLISH IN FRANCE WAS NOT COMPULSORY

THANK YOU NIPPY, THANK YOU FOR EVRYTHING AND IN MY HEART IT IS ONLY GOOD MEMORIES BECAUSE NEVER, NEVER THE BAD THINGS WON OVER THE GOOD ONES IN MY WORLD.

YOU WILL SING FOR GOD NOW. HOW LUCKY GOD IS TO HAVE YOUR GIFTED VOICE FOR EVER.

WINTER TIME FOR HAIR : TREATMENT + PROTECTION

THE WEATHER IN LONDON HAS BEEN AWFUL.

I HAVE BEEN SICK FOR AT LEAST 2 WEEKS THAT'S WHY I DIDN'T POST A LOT. I DON'T LIKE WINTER SEASON CAUSE I HAVE TO PROTECT MY HAIR AND BECAUSE IT IS FREEZING I AM ALWAYS SICK DESPITE THE FACT THAT I COVER MY BODY SERIOUSLY.

BUT WHAT I LIKE ABOUT WINTER IS THE FACT THAT YOU CAN WEAR ANYTHING EVEN THE MOST OUTRAGEOUS COMBINATION NOBODY CARES. WINTER TIME MEANS ALSO THAT I AM MORE LAZY THAN USUAL ABOUT MY HAIR. I AM DOING ONLY TWO THINGS ALL THE TIME TREAT, PROTECT AND COVER ALL THIS IN THE MOST SIMPLE AND EASY METHOD.

MY WINTER ROUTINE IS:

- HOT ALMA OIL MASK ON MY HAIR
- I BLOW DRY FOR 5 MIN TO ALLOW THE OIL TO PENETRATE
- I CO WASH MY HAIR
- I PUT MY CREAM (mix of coconut oil, jojoba oil, castor oil and aloes vera gel)
- I BLOW DRY IT FOR SOME LENGTH AND ALSO BECAUSE I CAN'T AFFORD TO LET THE AIR DRY IT I AM TO AFRAID TO GET SICK. IN FACT THE WINTER IS THE ONLY SEASON THAT I USE THE AIR DRYER A LOT.
- I STYLE IT WITH SIMPLE BRAIDS OR TWISTS BECAUSE I WILL WEAR BANDANAS THE ALL SEASON WHEN I AM GOING OUT.

THIS ARE THE PROTECTIVE HAIRSTYLES THAT I WILL MAKE FOR THIS SEASON.

I BOUGHT THIS BANDANAS IN PRIMARK. I WILL WEAR THEM THE WHOLE WINTER. UNTIL THE SUN COME BACK. I HAVE NO PLAN TO LET MY HAIR OUT WITHOUT ANY PROTECTION. I WILL APPLY EACH DAY MY CREAM AS USUAL SO MY HAIR WILL NOT STAY DRY.

BLACK HISTORY MONTH : " YOU CAN KISS MY A*** OFF "

IN THE U.K BLACK HISTORY MONTH IS DURING THE MONTH OF OCTOBER
IN THE U.S.A BLACK HISTORY MONTH IS DURING THE MONTH OF FEBUARY

IN MY HEAD IT' S EVRYDAY.

I WAS VISITING THE HUFFINGTON POST YESTERDAY AND I SAW THIS ARTICLE ABOUT A LETTER WRITTEN / DICTATED BY A FORMER SLAVE JOURDON ANDERSON (R.I.P). HE WAS RESPONDING AT HIS FORMER MASTER'S LETTER, COLONEL P.H ANDERSON WHO WAS ASKING HIM TO COME BACK TO WORK AGAIN FOR HIM EVEN IF HE WAS EMANCIPATED (some people have some nerves especially when they have an evil mind).

AS USUAL I WENT TO READ THE COMMENT SECTION AND YOU CAN CLEARLY SAW WHO WAS WHITE OR BLACK. SOME PEOPLE EVEN QUESTIONED THE AUTENTICITY OF THE LETTER SAYING " IT IS A FAKE".
YES, A FAKE CAN YOU BELIEVE IT ? BECAUSE AT THAT TIME A SLAVE COULDN'T READ AND WRITE SO ELOQUENTLY. AND SOME WERE SAYING THAT SLAVERY WAS MORE THAN 150 YEARS AGO AND BLACKS NEED TO STOP TALKING ABOUT IT. APARENTLY AFTER SLAVERY EVRYTHING WAS SOOOOO PERFECT!

I WANT YOU TO READ THIS LETTER FOR TWO REASONS. FOR THE HISTORICAL ASPECT OF COURSE BECAUSE YOU HAVE AN ACTUAL ACCOUNT FROM A FORMER SLAVE ON HOW WAS HIS LIFE AND HIS FEELINGS. THE OTHER REASON IS FOR HIM, FOR US BECAUSE SO MANY TIME WE SPEND OUR TIME READING STUPID AND OFFENSIVE STATEMENTS ABOUT BLACKS IN THE MEDIA THEN RUSHED TO PROTEST AND ASKED FOR EXCUSES ETC... HOW MANY OF US WILL SPEND THIS QUALITY TIME TO SIT DOWN WITH OUR CHILDREN AND READ THIS KIND OF LETTER AND ENGAGED A DEEP CONVERSATION WITH THEM ?

BY READING THIS LETTER YOU WILL DISCOVER AN INCREDIBLE MAN AND MORE BUT I LET ONE OF THE POSTER IN HUFFINGTON POST TO SAY IT:

billbb

I agree. Mr. Jourdon Anderson showed intelligence, tolerance and even some humor in his detailed and dignified response. He got his point across clearly, but far more intellectually than the headline suggests. Even among tolerant whites, there is still a tendency to see the ex-slaves as uneducated - or at the very least, under educated. Yet this ex-slave wrote a detailed business letter to his extremely difficult former boss that would be beyond the class and style of many executive MBAs today. Even if it was dictated to a scribe, Jourdon Anderson is certainly responsible for the letter's wit and turn of phrase. Even these generations later, one thing is very clear: Mr. Anderson would have been a man worth knowing.

MAY GOD BLESS OUR ANCESTORS ESPECIALLY THE ONE WHO SUFFERED THE MOST AND I KNOW AND BELIEVED THAT THE FORMER SLAVES HAVE A GOOD PLACE IN HEAVEN FOR ETERNITY.

AND TO YOU MR JOURDAN ANDERSON I SALUTED YOU AND YOUR COURAGE WHERE EVER YOU ARE THANK YOU FOR THE SACRIFICE. GOD HAD ALREADY STARTED TO BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY AT THE END OF YOUR LIFE.

August 7, 1865

To My Old Master, Colonel P.H. Anderson, Big Spring, Tennessee

Sir: I got your letter, and was glad to find that you had not forgotten Jourdon, and that you wanted me to come back and live with you again, promising to do better for me than anybody else can. I have often felt uneasy about you. I thought the Yankees would have hung you long before this, for harboring Rebs they found at your house. I suppose they never heard about your going to Colonel Martin's to kill the Union soldier that was left by his company in their stable. Although you shot at me twice before I left you, I did not want to hear of your being hurt, and am glad you are still living. It would do me good to go back to the dear old home again, and see Miss Mary and Miss Martha and Allen, Esther, Green, and Lee. Give my love to them all, and tell them I hope we will meet in the better world, if not in this. I would have gone back to see you all when I was working in the Nashville Hospital, but one of the neighbors told me that Henry intended to shoot me if he ever got a chance.

I want to know particularly what the good chance is you propose to give me. I am doing tolerably well here. I get twenty-five dollars a month, with victuals and clothing; have a comfortable home for Mandy,—the folks call her Mrs. Anderson,—and the children—Milly, Jane, and Grundy—go to school and are learning well. The teacher says Grundy has a head for a preacher. They go to Sunday school, and Mandy and me attend church regularly. We are kindly treated. Sometimes we overhear others saying, "Them colored people were slaves" down in Tennessee. The children feel hurt when they hear such remarks; but I tell them it was no disgrace in Tennessee to belong to Colonel Anderson. Many darkeys would have been proud, as I used to be, to call you master. Now if you will write and say what wages you will give me, I will be better able to decide whether it would be to my advantage to move back again.

As to my freedom, which you say I can have, there is nothing to be gained on that score, as I got my free papers in 1864 from the Provost-Marshal-General of the Department of Nashville. Mandy says she would be afraid to go back without some proof that you were disposed to treat us justly and kindly; and we have concluded to test your sincerity by asking you to send us our wages for the time we served you. This will make us forget and forgive old scores, and rely on your justice and friendship in the future. I served you faithfully for thirty-two years, and Mandy twenty years. At twenty-five dollars a month for me, and two dollars a week for Mandy, our earnings would amount to eleven thousand six hundred and eighty dollars. Add to this the interest for the time our wages have been kept back, and deduct what you paid for our clothing, and three doctor's visits to me, and pulling a tooth for Mandy, and the balance will show what we are in justice entitled to. Please send the money by Adams's Express, in care of V. Winters, Esq., Dayton, Ohio. If you fail to pay us for faithful labors in the past, we can have little faith in your promises in the future. We trust the good Maker has opened your eyes to the wrongs which you and your fathers have done to me and my fathers, in making us toil for you for generations without recompense. Here I draw my wages every Saturday night; but in Tennessee there was never any pay-day for the negroes any more than for the horses and cows. Surely there will be a day of reckoning for those who defraud the laborer of his hire.

In answering this letter, please state if there would be any safety for my Milly and Jane, who are now grown up, and both good-looking girls. You know how it was with poor Matilda and Catherine. I would rather stay here and starve—and die, if it come to that—than have my girls brought to shame by the violence and wickedness of their young masters. You will also please state if there has been any schools opened for the colored children in your neighborhood. The great desire of my life now is to give my children an education, and have them form virtuous habits.

Say howdy to George Carter, and thank him for taking the pistol from you when you were shooting at me.

From your old servant,

JOURDON ANDERSON
