HOW I MAINTAIN MY WASH AND GO

BECAUSE it's my first time to do a WASH AND GO I tried very hard to maintain it. I want to succeed so I can do this hairstyle for work; Most of the time my hair are braided;So it's very new to me to let my hair out and uncombed; The most difficult thing for me it's the apparent dryness and the anxiety when I will have to wash my hair at the end of the week;

DOES MY HAIR WILL BE TANGLED so It will hurt me when i will start to comb it again ?

I REALLY LOVE THE TEXTURE of my hair when I put the coconut conditioner, the leave-in and spray the water; MY HAIR ARE SOFT AND SHINY AND I CAN ALSO RETAIN A SMALL CURLY EFFECT. AND OF COURSE IT QUITE EASY TO DO BECAUSE ALL YOU NEED IS YOUR FINGERS.

THE OTHER THING IS THAT MY HAIR SHRANK BUT I WAS EXPECTING IT.

THE FIRST DAY I made the WASH AND GO. My curls were more defined;

I always wear a tight on my head when I am sleeping to protect my hair

The next day - back of my head- my hair is flat and dry

The next day - front of my head -not flat but dry because I slept on my back;

I apply the coconut conditioner, the leave-in then I spray some water until I feel the softness;

Through the day I spray water with one of my own lotion composed of liquid coconut oil, olive oil and water.I have done it only one time;

I use my fingers to style my hair and put my hair band; AND AS YOU CAN SEE MY HAIR SHRANK compare to the first day;

I REALLY LOVE THE RESULT CAUSE MY HAIR ARE SHINY AND SOFT AGAIN. THE DRYNESS WAS NOT SO DIFFICULT TO ERASE. Maybe I will make this hairstyle when I will go back to work in January.

  1. Don't worry about the shrinkage. That's half the fun of our hair . . . short one day, long the next. LOL. Besides, the hair looks good. At night, you can always do very loose twists to keep your hair elongated. You might also try some non-alcoholic gel to help define your curls. With the proper mixture of oil, water and gel, you maintain your twist out for several days.
